Nottingham Forest and Manchester United clash tonight in the first of a two-legged EFL Cup semi-final, as both sides look to gain the upper hand in the race to Wembley.
Ahead of the first leg of their EFL Cup semi-final, Sam Matterface, Steve Freeth and Kelly Somers have discussed their best Bet Builder selections.
The two sides have enjoyed varied levels of success in the league, United sit in fourth place on 39 points whilst Forest will be hoping they can end the season just one point ahead of the Red Devils' current total - chasing the 'magic' 40-point marker which should be enough to avoid relegation.
This isn't the league though, and as Forest have proven over the past year they are a force to be reckoned with in the big knockout games.
Steve Cooper's side have already beaten two Premier League rivals in Tottenham and Wolves in this year's EFL Cup run as well as courageously navigating their way through last year's Championship play-off semi-finals before winning the big one, and promotion, at Wembley.
Tonight's game will certainly be the toughest of all of those tests, however.
Erik Ten Hag's side are in tremednous form this season, and the Dutchman has found himself an excellent opputunity to get his first piece of silverware at the Manchester club.
They have had a nice run to the semi-final, only playing one Premier League side in their three games, so an away trip to the City Ground will no doubt provide United with their sternest test in the competition so far.
The atmosphere will be electric and the home side are sure to be given an injection of confidence from their fans.
Kelly, Sam and Steve discuss who they believe will take one step closer to the trophy, as they give their Bet Builder selections in what looks to be a tightly contested game.
