15th October 2022 was not only the crowning of an undisputed female middleweight champion, but perhaps the biggest night in the history of women's boxing.
While the last few years have seen Katie Taylor become a household name and a primetime star on British television, October's all-female card was a momentous occasion for women's boxing, in front of a sold-out O2 Arena, packing in more than 15,000 fans.
The fight was initially due to take place on 10th September, but following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, the card was pushed back five weeks, as the anticipation, which was already nearing fever pitch, built further.
