The Champions League is finally back, and that can only mean one thing; the return of our 4 Scores Challenge. Steve Freeth, Sam Matterface and Kelly Somers makes their predictions ahead of an exciting round of fixtures.
The Champions League makes its return today as it enters the Round of 16, and it will not be short on excitement with some of Europe's biggest teams battling it out for a place in the quarter-finals.
The group stages threw up a few surprises, with the likes of Barcelona crashing out of a group that featured two more European giants in Bayern Munich and Inter, PSG dramatically finishing second in their group behind Benfica - but ahead of Juventus - and Atletico Madrid finishing bottom to not even make the Europa League.
This week's 4 Scores Challenge fixtures
Fixture | Kick-off |
---|---|
AC Milan v Tottenham | 20:00, Tuesday |
PSG v Bayern Munich | 20:00, Tuesday |
Club Brugge v Benfica | 20:00, Wednesday |
Borussia Dortmund v Chelsea | 20:00, Wednesday |
Paris is known as the city of love but it won't be an amicable affair this Valentine's Day when they take on Bayern Munich in a replay of 2020's final, whilst Tottenham boss Antonio Conte rekindles an old relationship when he returns to the San Siro to take on former rivals AC Milan.
On Wednesday, Scott Parker's Club Brugge welcome Benfica, who will be without star midfielder Enzo Fernandez after his big-money move to Chelsea - he won't be missing out though, as the West London side travel to Germany to take on a Dortmund side who are on a six-game winning streak.
Could we be seeing the eventual winners in Paris, in the clash between two of Europe's biggest, or will somebody else stake their claim as a top contender for June's final in Istanbul?
Such competitive games can be hard to predict, but you can test your knowledge with our 4 Scores Predictor Challenge.
A reminder that correctly predicting all four scores will win you £500 in cash, with £10 in Bet Credits awarded for three correct scores, and £2.50 for two correct scores.
