WATCH: Boxing Betting Tips: Rob Tebbutt’s 7/4 Adam Azim shout

Our resident boxing expert Rob Tebbutt looks ahead to this weekend’s boxing on both sides of the Atlantic and tells us where he feels the betting value can be found.

Adam Azim (1/33) v Santos Reyes (11/1)
Super-lightweight bout

Azim

Starting at the top of BOXXER's card in London, Adam Azim returns as the young hotshot takes on Nicaragua’s Santos Reyes over ten rounds.

We’ve all seen it before with Azim, he possesses fast hands, fast feet and real knockout power in both hands, and I, like most other fans, think this fight goes the way that many of his fights have in the past, it finishes early!

Three of his last four fights have been over in the first round and the other was settled in the second, and you can get 7/4 on Azim overcoming Santos Reyes in rounds one or two, which is where I see the value for this fight.

Tebbutt’s Tip

Round Group Betting (2):
Adam Azim - In Rounds 1 - 2
Price: 7/4

Zak Chelli (9/4) v Anthony Sims Jr (1/3)
Super-middleweight bout

The bet365 wildcard fight of the evening will pit Zak Chelli against Anthony Sims Jr, and this is a really interesting fight with a really good clash of styles.

You’ve got the marauding, aggressive style of Chelli against the slick, outside boxing skills of the American, Sims Jr.

Rightfully, the fight is a very close pick with the bookies – on paper Sims Jr has to be the favourite and 21/20 to win by decision doesn’t look a bad shout.

But I see the fight being closer than that and like the look of Chelli to win on points at the boosted piece of 4/1.

If you are a short odds player than 2/5 on the bout going the distance also carries plenty of appeal.

Tebbutt’s Tip

Fight Outcome:
Zak Chelli by Decision or Technical Decision
BOOSTED from 15/4 to 4/1

Caroline Dubois (1/50) v Feriche Mashauri (14/1)
Lightweight bout

Dubois

Caroline Dubois - one of the hottest prospects in women’s boxing, in fact, in all of boxing - also returns to in-ring action on Saturday night.

She takes on Feriche Mashauri over eight rounds and we have seen Mashauri take Natasha Jonas the distance over six rounds.

But it’s worth noting she has also been stopped in two rounds by Terri Harper and Chantelle Cameron and I expect Caroline Dubois to do exactly the same thing this weekend.

I see this fight ending in an early stoppage and would have to be looking at the 6/5 price on offer for this fight to be over between rounds one and two.

Tebbutt’s Tip

Round Group Betting (2):
Caroline Dubois - In Rounds 1 - 2
Price: 7/4
