The UFC heads to Salt Lake City, Utah for UFC 291 as Dustin Poirier takes on Justin Gaethje for the BMF title.
Both have fallen just short of the UFC lightweight title, but having put on a number of blockbuster fights over the years, the pair will share the Octagon once again.
Poirier beat Gaethje back in a 2018 blockbuster, winning via TKO in the fourth round, and the pair will square off for another five-rounder on Saturday night.
Since joining the UFC in 2016, every fight of Gaethje's that's passed the first round, bar one, has been Fight of the Night, while Poirier has landed Fight of the Night honours in six of his last 12 fights.
Saturday's main event promises not just to be a Fight of the Night candidate, but a Fight of the Year candidate.
In the co-main event, Jan Blachowicz gets another opportunity to put himself in the title frame after his split draw with Magomed Ankalaev in December 2022 when he takes on Alex Pereira, making the move up to light heavyweight.
