UFC 290 will see two titles fights in one night as Alexander Volkanovski and Brandon Moreno defend their featherweight and flyweight titles, and Adam Catterall has given his predictions for both.
The drop back down to featherweight will be a welcome return for Volkanovski after being out-pointed by lightweight champ Islam Makhachev on his move to 145, and he will look to re-unify the division against interim champion Yair Rodriguez, who captured the interim belt against Josh Emmett.
After his quadrilogy-sealing win over Deiveson Figueiredo in January, Brandon Moreno will make his first title defence as UFC flyweight champion, taking on Alexandre Pantoja.
The Brazilian moved up to #2 in the flyweight rankings thanks to back-to-back Performance of the Night victories over Brandon Royval and Alex Perez, setting up a title shot with The Assassin Baby.
Further down the card we may be getting a look at the next middleweight title challenger as Robert Whittaker takes on Dricus du Plessis.
Israel Adesanya has beaten five of the top six ranked middleweights, with South African Du Plessis the only one he's not shared the Octagon with, and with Adesanya saying he has no interest in fighting Alex Pereira again, the fight with Stillknocks will be the one to make should he get past Whittaker on Saturday night.
