Former light-middleweight world champion Liam Smith speaks to bet365 as he fine-tunes his preparations ahead of his hugely-anticipated domestic dustup with Chris Eubank Jr in September.
The Liverpudlian produced a showreel stoppage of ‘NextGen’ in their electrifying first encounter in Manchester earlier this year, and is the pre-fight 4/6 favourite to deliver the same conclusion when they lock-horns for a second time next month.
Smith, who captured the WBO version of the 154lbs strap at the same venue in Manchester eight years ago, will propel himself right back into the world title mix with a fifth successive success, having seen off the likes of Eubank Jr - a narrow 6/5 underdog - Jessie Vargas and Anthony Fowler in recent years.
