Our resident boxing expert Rob Tebbutt looks ahead to Jared Martin's return to action as the hard-hitting heavyweight looks to claim the scalp of former world champion Charles Martin and extend his perfect 15-0 record.
Over in Toledo, Ohio, we see the return of ‘The Real Big Baby’ Jared Anderson as he takes on the man who once walked this earth like a god, ‘Prince’ Charles Martin - the American former IBF heavyweight world champion.
All the odds and signs point towards a win for Jared Anderson, who has beaten and knocked out every opponent he has faced on the professional stage to date.
I expect this fight to follow suit in the early hours of Sunday morning and I certainly don’t expect Anderson to be extended much past four rounds, if at all.
I just feel his punching power, shot selection and natural athleticism will be too much for Charles Martin, who has taken this fight on relatively short notice following the withdrawal of Zhan Kossobutskiy.
I think Anderson will make short work of his opponent, although that’s not to say that Charles Martin is not a good fighter, I just rate the talent of Jared Anderson.
If you think that Anderson can get the job done in double-quick time then you can get 5/2 on him winning by ‘KO, TKO or Disqualification’ within the first two rounds.
But for me, my play in this fight is for Anderson to extend his record to 16-0 within the first four rounds at 4/7.
