BMW PGA Championship tips and predictions with Jason Sobel

The DP World Tour's flagship event is almost upon us, and Jason Sobel has made his tips and predictions for the Wentworth event.

The BMW PGA Championship, which boasts winners including Rory McIlroy, Tyrrell Hatton, Francesco Molinari and Shane Lowry in recent years, will see all 12 of Europe's Ryder Cup players tee it up in Surrey.

Interestingly, it's not McIlroy, whose form figures at the last five PGA Championships read 1-MC-2-T9-T2, who goes off as favourite. McIlroy is second on the list at 15/2 behind Viktor Hovland (13/2).

Hovland has three appearances at Wentworth, finishing T11-T49-T5, but gets the nod as favourite after his remarkable TOUR Championship win three weeks ago. 

Jon Rahm is third favourite at 17/2, but Jason Sobel is swerving the marquee trio and has three English golfers looking to impress in from of their home crowd.
