It may have taken a decade, but Manchester United finally appear to be heading in the right direction under Erik ten Hag.
The Dutchman's maiden Premier League campaign threatens to end on the sourest of notes with defeat in the FA Cup final which will send Manchester City well on their way to the treble, but equally it could end on the sweetest, winning a second piece of silverware and, almost as importantly, stopping the treble.
Regardless of what happens on Saturday, there's no questioning the job Ten Hag has done at Old Trafford in his first 12 months.
Merely qualifying for the Champions League would've been an impressive season, but to finish third, reach two cup finals - winning one and possibly two - and even, albeit briefly, join the title race bodes very well for the future.
