Kim "Zest" Gi-seok of VALORANT side DRX believes his team can bounce back from defeat to OpTic Gaming in the VCT Masters Reykjavik 2022 and can progress through the competition's lower bracket.
In their next match at the VCT Masters Reykjavik, DRX are 1/7 to beat ZETA Division, who can be backed at 4/1 to progress.
DRX lost 2-1 to OpTic Gaming in the upper bracket semi-finals, despite having secured the first map, and have consequently been relegated to the lower bracket.
They must now take on ZETA Division and should they win that match, they will then face either G2 Esports or Paper Rex for a spot in the third round of the lower bracket.
Ultimately, they still need to win three matches to progress to the tournament's Grand Finals, whereas OpTic - following their win - only need to overpower LOUD to reach the climax.

But "Zest" has backed his DRX team to come through the lower bracket and potentially set up a rematch with OpTic, insisting their confidence is still high.
Speaking after the defeat, "Zest" said: "I think we're not looking like a team that has lost - we're pretty confident we are going to come back from the lower bracket - it's most likely going to be a rematch, so we're confident we can win.
"Today there were a lot of personal mistakes on our side and we weren't as flawless as we usually are as playing as a team.
"With that being said, OpTic played a great game today and they were a little better than what we had actually expected."
