The fight between Anthony Yarde and Jorge Silva is scheduled to take place on Saturday 23rd September on the undercard of Zhilei Zhang v Joe Joyce 2.

Yarde made his professional debut in May 2015 when he knocked out Mitch Mitchell at Wembley Arena and he went on to win his next 20 bouts.
That run included a first-round victory over Richard Baranyi at London’s Copper Box Arena in July 2017, which gave him the WBO European light heavyweight title.
He then added the vacant Inter-Continental title when he beat Norbert Nemesapati at the same venue a couple of months later.
Yarde’s first defeat came in August 2019 when he was stopped in the 11th round of his first world title attempt after travelling to Chelyabinsk, Russia to take on Sergey Kovalev.
He then lost a split decision to Lyndon Arthur in December 2020, before gaining revenge on the Manchester fighter a year later to take his Commonwealth title.
His fight against Jorge Silva will be his first since he was beaten in his second world title fight, against Artur Beterbiev, losing in the eighth round of their bout at Wembley Arena in January.
Jorge Silva has won 22 of his 30 fights, with his most recent victory coming over Jack Jones in June.
Prior to that, Britain's Kieron Conway scored a points victory over the Portuguese fighter on the Leigh Wood v Mauricio Lara undercard, back in February.

The Anthony Yarde v Jorge Silva bout will be on the undercard of the WBO Interim World heavyweight fight between Zhilel Zhang and Joe Joyce.
The Chinese fighter caused a shock when he stopped Joyce in the sixth round at Wembley Arena in April, when Joyce, ‘The Juggernaut’, had been lined up as the mandatory challenger for Oleksandr Usyk.
Zhang is priced at 4/5 to come out on top again while Joyce can be backed at 1/1.
