Wrexham will bid to maintain their League One charge on Saturday afternoon when they play host to Shrewsbury Town at the Racecourse Ground.
The Welsh side have been grabbing the headlines both on and off the field over the past couple of years, securing back-to-back promotions under the stewardship of high-profile owners Ryan Reynolds and Ryan McElhenney.
They have wasted no time in acclimatising themselves to the third-tier neither, registering ten points from their opening four fixtures, including a 2-0 win at Peterborough United last time out.
Shrewsbury, by contrast, were beaten in each of their opening three matches of the season before bouncing back to winning ways with an emphatic 3-0 triumph at home to Leyton Orient last weekend.
Wrexham v Shrewsbury Town is available to watch live in the UK and will be broadcast on Sky Sports+.
Wrexham v Shrewsbury Town will take place at the Racecourse Ground on Saturday 7th September 2024, with kick-off due at 15:00 (BST).
Thomas O'Connor's second half strike secured Wrexham a narrow 1-0 win the last time the two sides met earlier this year, as the Welsh side progressed in the FA Cup.
The showdown in Shropshire was the first meeting of any kind since Shrewsbury eased to a 3-0 League Two success in April 2008.
That was Town's sixth win in seven matches with Wrexham, although it is Phil Parkinson's men who head into this weekend's clash as the strong favourites.
Wrexham currently sit in second place in the standings, having recorded ten points from their opening matches, seven more than Shrewsbury, who boast just a solitary success and three defeats from their quartet of fixtures to date.
