Wrexham are reportedly interested in signing Norwegian striker Kristian Lien from Swedish side Djurgarden in January.
On the Minute have reported that Wrexham have added the player to their January shortlist as they consider potential improvements to their squad.
It is claimed that Birmingham City are also monitoring the player's situation ahead of the opening of the transfer window on New Year's Day.
Lien has been in blistering form for Djurgarden in 2026 after spending the last two seasons out on loan following an underwhelming spell at Dutch side Groningen.
The 24-year-old has scored 15 goals in 21 league games to propel Djurgarden up to third in the Allsvenskan table.
Wrexham will be hoping to challenge for a top-eight finish in the Championship this season but they have struggled for consistency in the early weeks of their campaign.
They are currently 14th in the Championship table and manager Phil Parkinson will be hoping that his team can kick on after the international break.
