A year-by-year list of World Snooker Championship centuries at the competition's iconic modern-day home, The Crucible.
There are few finer sights in sport than witnessing a beautifully constructed century break at snooker's spiritual home in Sheffield.
A remarkable 2,350 of them have been made at the competition since its relocation from Middlesbrough and Manchester to Yorkshire in 1977, with a record tally of 109 being made during the 2022 edition.
In fact, that year represented only the third time in history that the WST's flagship event had seen 100 or more centuries made, with the other occasions coming in 2021 (108) and 2019 (100).
Surprisingly, the 2024 installment, despite the high quality of talent on show, produced just 63 century breaks, the lowest tally at the tournament in a decade.

Four-time Crucible king Mark Selby is the only other player to have exceeded 100, with his record currently standing at 107.
Stephen Hendry and Mark Williams hold a joint record 16 century breaks at a single World Snooker Championship, with Hendry registering his tally at the 2002 competition before Welshman Williams equalled that record two decades later (2022).
