A total of 12 players have been crowned champion, including three of the sport's most illustrious players of all-time, Steve Davis, Jimmy White and Mark Williams.
Cliff Wilson captured the first title back in 1991, seeing off Eddie Charlton 5-4 at Trentham Gardens, in Stoke-on-Trent.
