A total of 14 players have been crowned champion, including four of the sport's most illustrious players of all-time, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Steve Davis, Jimmy White and Mark Williams.
Cliff Wilson captured the first title back in 1991, seeing off Eddie Charlton 5-4 at Trentham Gardens, in Stoke-on-Trent.
O'Sullivan is the current champion, defeating Joe Perry in the final to claim the title in his maiden appearance.
