The 2026 World Matchplay continues from Blackpool on Sunday and our resident darts expert Keith Deller has put together appetising Bet Builders for both the afternoon and evening sessions.
On Saturday night the action got underway at the iconic Winter Gardens venue, with defending champion Luke Littler defeating Niko Springer, and Josh Rock, Stephen Bunting and Nathan Aspinall all winning their first round matchups.
With the tournament now well underway, the 1983 world champion Deller has taken a close look at the action on Sunday afternoon and produced a four-fold accumulator that pays at over 2/1.
Check out his best bets and tips for session two of the World Matchplay below...
Round 1 of the 2026 World Matchplay continues with a bumper double session at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
Chris Dobey gets us started in the afternoon session, and 'Hollywood' enters the tournament in good form having won two Players Championships in 2026.
The 36-year-old's best-ever finish at the World Matchplay was when he reached the last eight in 2023, and he will relish the chance to get off on the right foot this year against the Netherlands' Dirk van Duijvenbode.
Gary Anderson won here in 2018 and he has the quality to see off Ryan Joyce and progress from the first round this afternoon.
Michael van Gerwen hasn't exactly been at his best in recent outings on the European tour, and he was beaten by the man he will face on Sunday Andrew Gilding in Slovakia last month.
The three-time world champion still knows how to turn it on when he needs to though, and his class should see him through here.
The final first round match of the Sunday afternoon session sees Jonny Clayton take on Damon Heta in a heavyweight showdown.
Clayton has shown flashes of brilliance this year and while Heta can be a very tricky customer on his day - he should have what it takes to progress.
William O'Connor will make his World Matchplay debut on Sunday evening after qualifying for the tournament for the first time.
The Irishman has been in good form of late and I think he has what it takes to spring an upset on 2023 quarter-finalist Ryan Searle.
Just one week after reaching the final of the European Darts Open Jermaine Wattimena will be itching to to continue his momentum and that should be enough to see him through against James Wade.
Gian van Veen hasn't always been at his best this year but he still knows how to turn it on when it counts.
The Dutchman was knocked out at the quarter-final stage in Leverkusen last weekend by Krzysztof Ratajski last weekend, but I think he will be able to get his revenge in Blackpool on Sunday night.
The evening session is closed out by a showdown between Dave Chisnall and Wessel Nijman.
Nijman has impressed me throughout 2026 and he will be determined to make a statement against Chizzy and I can see him getting the win.
