We take a look at every winner of the World Darts Championship since Dennis Priestley captured the competition's first title back in 1994.
The inaugural staging of the PDC World Darts Championship took place in 1994, a year in which Dennis Priestley was crowned champion after defeating the great Phil Taylor 6-1 in the final.
That loss failed to deter Taylor's bid for glory however, as 'The Power' surged to eight consecutive successes on the back of his hammering in '94.
In fact, no player in history has captured more world titles than the Stoke star's 16 - 14 of which came in the PDC event (the other two falling under the BDO banner).
While Taylor dominated the darts scene in the late 1990s and early 2000s, the last seven years has provided six different winners - a trend that could well continue at the 2025 staging of the event with Luke Littler the current favourite.
'The Nuke' stormed to the final on debut in 2024 before eventually going down to Luke Humphries, but it appears only a matter of time until the Warrington star etches his name into the World Championship history books.
