World Grand Prix champion Mike De Decker starts his 2025 World Darts Championship campaign with a second round clash against Luke Woodhouse on Tuesday afternoon and Keith Deller MBE shares his best bets for the match.
Mike De Decker v Luke Woodhouse
Tuesday 17th December (15:40)
Mike De Decker enters this year's World Championships off the back of winning his first major TV tournament at the World Grand Prix and he is playing with a lot of confidence.
He believes in himself a lot more now and I think De Decker will average over the 97.5 line which has been set. Your first match is always a little nerve-wracking but I feel the Belgian's head is in a really good place.
I also like the look of there being at least three ton-plus checkouts in this matchup.
Luke Woodhouse is a very deliberate type of player and he showed his hand in the victory against Lourence Ilagan with a stunning 115 finish. Any shots just over the 100 mark, these boys will have a good go at it.
Woodhouse is a very solid player but De Decker's form and confidence should see him through this one in four sets.
