1983 World Darts Champion Keith Deller MBE has delivered a 10/1 Bet Builder for Thursday night's World Darts Championship second round match between Michael "Bully Boy" Smith and Kevin Doets.
Michael Smith v Kevin Doets
Thursday 19th December (22:15)
Michael Smith commences his 2025 World Darts Championship campaign against Kevin Doets and Bully Boy will be looking to lay down a marker as he attempts to retrieve his crown from Luke Humphries.
Remember last year when Doets nearly took Smith out in the second round? I think with all of the insight from the TV documentary it probably hasn't done Doets many favours.
While I believe Smith will top the 180 charts, I do think Doets to hit the more 100+ checkouts, which at 10/3 is a very tempting price. The Dutchman is a very deliberate player and can produce a variety of finishes.
Smith is a short price at 2/7 and I expect him to win, though I don't think he'll have it all his own way and I predict there will be at least four sets in this contest.
Combine my three selections and bet365 are offering 10/1 with their new Bet Builder feature.
On top of my Bet Builder, I also fancy Smith to reel in the Big Fish at 6/1. Bully Boy is the type of player that when he's flowing well, he's capable of finishing the 170 with ease.
A Darts Bet Builder is essentially a multi-leg bet which allows you to compile a variety of selections from a single match.
Available on a wide number of sports, now including Darts just in time for the World Championship, a Bet Builder consists of a minimum two selections, with the odds of your Bet Builder increasing with the more selections that are added, leading to higher potential payouts.
