1983 World Darts Champion Keith Deller MBE has picked out a 17/2 Bet Builder for the World Darts Championship third round match between Gerwyn Price and Joe Cullen on Friday.
Gerwyn Price v Joe Cullen
Friday 27th December (19:15)
Gerwyn Price and Joe Cullen both came through their second round matches in straight sets with 2021 world champion Price overcoming Ireland's Keane Barry and Cullen producing a 98.18 average to beat Wessel Nijman.
'The Iceman' would be the first to admit that he has been below par this calendar year, and it's no secret that it's largely been his finishing which has cost him dearly over the past 12 months.
But he showed signs of improvement in that area in his opener, and I fancy him to maintain that against a tough opponent in Cullen on Friday.
Gerwyn to win the match forms the first part of my treble for this game, whilst I am also expecting maximums aplenty, given the scoring power of the pair.
I could have aired on the side of caution with my selection, but I am sticking my neck on the line a little a tad and going for 16 or more 180s to be landed across this best-of-seven set encounter.
As well as this, I also like the look of the Welshman notching the highest checkout in the match.
A Darts Bet Builder is essentially a multi-leg bet which allows you to compile a variety of selections from a single match.
Available on a wide number of sports, now including Darts just in time for the World Championship, a Bet Builder consists of a minimum two selections, with the odds of your Bet Builder increasing with the more selections that are added, leading to higher potential payouts.
