1983 World Darts Champion Keith Deller MBE has pieced together a 12/1 Bet Builder for the 2025 World Darts Championship quarter-final showdown between Chris Dobey and Gerwyn Price.
Chris Dobey v Gerwyn Price
Wednesday 1st January (12:45)
This could be a belting match to open proceedings on quarter-finals day, and it's one that I am backing Gerwyn Price to prevail in.
The Welshman has been superb at Alexandra Palace, rediscovering the form that took him to world glory a few years ago, and he will be fancying his chances of going the full distance once again.
Chris Dobey stands in his way of a spot in the semi-final, and whilst he has had a very good tournament, I just feel that Gerwyn has a bit too much in his locker.
I am going for a 5-3 win for Price, whilst my 12/1 Bet Builder is made up of Price to win the match, Dobey to land the most 180s and for there to be a 170 finish in the match.
Dobey's finishing in his last game wasn't great, but he came through that match because of his power-scoring, hence my 180 selection, whilst I feel both players will have chances at 170 finishes.
Both have gone close already, and I am confident that one of the two will strike gold should another opportunity arise on New Year's Day.
For those fancying a little play on my 5-3 scoreline prediction, well 'The Iceman' can be backed at 11/2 to advance to the last four.
A Darts Bet Builder is essentially a multi-leg bet which allows you to compile a variety of selections from a single match.
Available on a wide number of sports, now including Darts just in time for the World Championship, a Bet Builder consists of a minimum two selections, with the odds of your Bet Builder increasing with the more selections that are added, leading to higher potential payouts.
