World Cup: Quarter-finals trigger Early Payout, Bore Draw and Extra Time Extra Chance offers

You didn't think the drama of the World Cup ended at the group stage did you?

Friday was only the first half of the World Cup quarter-finals, and it was a day that was full of incident and bet365 offers!

Starting with the Bore Draw Money Back + offer, which has now taken us to over £28m in refunds on a number of pre-match markets.

Brazil and Croatia failed to find the net, meaning stakes were returned on bets on First/Last/Anytime Goalscorer markets as well as Correct Score markets and plenty more - on both singles and Bet Builders.

So if you’d have backed one of the biggest players on the planet, Neymar, to score at anytime against Croatia, you’d have had your stake returned due to the Bore Draw Money Back + offer, but paid out in Bet Credits thanks to our Extra Time Extra Chance offer, which is also available for Bet Builders.

The second quarter-final looked to be going to how the odds suggested, so much so we paid out on Argentina when Lionel Messi put them 2-0 up on 73 minutes thanks to our 2 Goals Ahead Early Payout offer.

Little did we know that the Netherlands had other ideas with Wout Weghorst bagging a brace leaving both Burnley and Argentina fans shaking their heads - but not bet365 customers of course.

Admittedly, the equaliser was a set-piece of beauty, which meant the Extra Time Extra Chance offer then came into play.

Referee Antonio Mateu got his Christmas cards out early as he seemingly continued to flash them to all and sundry – not that Bet Builder Bookings backers were concerned.

After 10 cards were dished out in normal time, he showed three more in extra time.

We then headed to penalties with our biggest ever Super Boost liability yet to be settled – Lionel Messi to have a Shot on Target and Argentina to Qualify.

You know the rest.

Let's see what today brings!
