The Women's Big Bash League in Australia returns for a 10th season with the Adelaide Strikers looking to make it three titles in a row.
The Strikers beat Brisbane Heat in last year's final, but the Sydney Sixers look like the biggest threat to Adelaide's crown in the 2024 campaign.
The Women's Big Bash League starts on Sunday 27th October, with the final to be played on 1st December. The group stage ends on 24th November with two play-off matches - the Knockout and the Challenger - prior to the final.
With the UK-Australia time difference, Women's Big Bash matches typically start in the middle of the night or in the morning UK time.
Eight teams will once again feature in the 2024 Women's Big Bash League.
They are: Adelaide Strikers, Brisbane Heat, Hobart Hurricanes, Melbourne Renegades, Melbourne Stars, Perth Scorchers, Sydney Sixers and Sydney Thunder.
The Women's Big Bash League will be shown on Sky Sports in the 2024 season.
BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra will broadcast ball-by-ball commentary of selected games.
For the 2024 season, marking the 10th anniversary of the Women's Big Bash, a new format will be used. Instead of playing each team twice as before, teams will play a total of 10 games. They'll play a game against their seven opponents, playing three opponents twice.
The teams finishing third and fourth in the group stage will play in the Knockout game with the winner playing the team finishing second in the Challenger game. The winner of that will meet the first-placed team in the final.
A number of England's stars will fill overseas player slots in the Women's Big Bash League.
Danni Wyatt-Hodge will play for the Hobart Hurricanes, Sophie Ecclestone will play again for the Sydney Sixers with Heather Knight once again turning out for the Sydney Thunder.
Amy Jones stays with the Perth Scorchers, while Alice Capsey has moved from the Melbourne Stars to the Melbourne Renegades.
