We look at the latest odds for the Women's 400m hurdles final as 2020 Olympic champion Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and world champion Femke Bol head the gold medal hopes at the Stade de France on Thursday evening.
(Odds will display when the market is available)
Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone is the 1/4 favourite to retain her Olympic title in Paris on Thursday night, with fierce rival Femke Bol seemingly her biggest gold medal threat at 11/4.
Both athletes registered sub-53 second times during the semi-finals earlier this week, whilst both have remarkably come in at under 51 seconds this calendar year, with McLaughlin-Levrone smashing her own world record at the US Olympic trials earlier this summer with a time of 50.65 seconds.
Neither of the pair faced significant challenges in their respective heats despite the two favourites taking their foot off the gas during the final straight, suggesting both should have plenty in the tank as they bid for gold this evening.
40/1 shot Anna Cockrell, McLaughlin-Levrone's American teammate, was the only other semi-finalist to break the 53-second barrier, finishing in 52.90 seconds, providing Dutch ace Bol with a competitive push down the final 50m.
Host nation France will be represented in the showpiece with Louise Maraval - a huge 250/1 outsider - set to compete in her first ever Olympic final, while Jamaican star Rushell Clayton shouldn't be written off despite her 33/1 odds.
