Wolverhampton Wanderers are looking to complete a deal to sign Newcastle United striker Sean Neave on loan.
Journalist Pete O'Rourke has reported Wolves' interest in the highly-rated young forward.
Neave will travel to Wolverhampton for a medical ahead of completing a season-long loan move.
The 19-year-old has made just two appearances for Newcastle's first team so far in his career.
He scored 10 goals in 14 matches for the club's development side last season, but he is still inexperienced when it comes to senior football.
Wolves have been looking to add an additional striker before the transfer window shuts and it appears that Neave will get an opportunity at Championship level.
Neave will have plenty of competition at Molineux as he takes the next step in his development, but both Wolves and Newcastle are admirers of the striker as he looks to make his breakthrough.
