Two of the biggest names in British sport, Andy Murray and Emma Raducanu will compete together as wildcard entrants in Mixed Doubles at Wimbledon this summer.
This news arrives on the back of the announcement that three-time Grand Slam champion Murray will not be competing in the men's singles at the All England Club this year due to a back issue.
The Scotsman will now compete alongside both brother Jamie and 2021 women's US Open champion Raducanu in the men's doubles and mixed doubles respectively, with the 37-year-old previously announcing his intention to retire from tennis following this summer's Paris Olympics.
Currently Britain's number three in the WTA rankings. Raducanu will combine her foray into mixed doubles with Murray alongside her own participation in the women's singles, with the 21-year-old set to take on Belgian Elise Mertens in the second round at SW19.
Murray and Raducanu will take on Marcelo Arevalo of El Salvador and Zhang Shuai of China in the first round at Wimbledon.
