I Am Maximus won the 2024 Grand National, and is 16/1 to repeat the feat in next year's race.
Willie Mullins lined up with eight runners for the Aintree showpiece, with stable jockey Paul Townend opting for I Am Maximus over the likes of stablemate Meetingofthewaters, while owner JP McManus's retained jockey Mark Walsh opted for Limerick Lace.
The reduction of the field to 34 runners combined with the lowering of the fences made for an unusual Grand National, with nearly half the field in with the chance approaching the final fence.
I Am Maximus got past the elbow and bolted home to win by seven-and-a-half lengths, giving Mullins his second winner in the race and his first since Hedgehunter back in 2005.
