Corach Rambler won the 2023 Grand National and is bidding to be the second back-to-back winner since Red Rum when lining up for the 2024 renewal.
There were doubts over the fitness of Derek Fox, who sustained a shoulder injury following a fall less than two weeks before the race, but the jockey recovered just in time to steer Corach Rambler to success.
It was the second win in the world's most famous steeplechase for Fox and trainer Lucinda Russell, who saddled One For Arthur in 2017.
Corach Rambler had won a handicap at Aintree over 3m1f before winning the Ultima at the Cheltenham Festival later that season.
Russell's charge repeated the feat the following season with another Ultima win, this time carrying another 17lbs, before heading back to Aintree to win the Grand National a month later.
