Tino Livramento is amongst four players earning their first senior England call-ups for the Three Lions' upcoming Nations League fixtures.
The Newcastle man joins Morgan Gibbs-White, Noni Madueke and Angel Gomes in getting the nod from interim manager Lee Carsley.
Carsley of course worked with all four at under-21 level, so is well aware of what each will bring to the squad.
Born on 12th November 2002, Livramento is 21 years old.
Livramento gets his surname from his Portuguese father. His mother is Scottish, but Livramento was raised in England, having been born in Croydon.
Naturally right-footed, Livramento it at his most comfortable playing at right-back, but the Newcastle man is adept playing on the left, where he's often been deployed under Eddie Howe.
A strong tackler who's not shy of going to ground, Livramento is a very sound defender. The Newcastle man is more than capable of contributing in the final third, too, with his pace and eye for a pass making him a reliable creative outlet if given the freedom to get forward into the final third.
Livramento stands at 183cm, or 6ft.
A boyhood Chelsea fan, Livramento spent his youth in the Chelsea academy. Unable to agree a new deal, Livramento left West London for Southampton in 2021.
Livramento was hugely impressive in his debut season at St Mary's, but a serious knee injury kept him out of action for more than a year.
Livramento then moved to Newcastle United for around £32m last summer.
