Which jockey has the most wins at the Cheltenham Festival?

Legendary Irish jockey Ruby Walsh is the jockey with the most Cheltenham Festival wins, after amassing an incredible 59 winners during his career.

He won an incredible seven races at the 2009 and 2016 Cheltenham Festivals and was the winner of the Top Jockey award no less than 11 times.

With two Gold Cup wins, four Champion Hurdles and three Champion Chases included in his career, Walsh is the most successful Cheltenham jockey by some distance.

Barry Geraghty is the second most successive Cheltenham jockey of all-time with 43 winners, while Paul Townend is third with 34 winners.

As the primary jockey for Willie Mullins, Townend could close the gap considerably to Geraghty in 2025.
