The world's most famous steeplechase is almost upon us, with Corach Rambler favourite to make it back-to-back successes for Lucinda Russell after his 2023 victory.
The Scotland-trained 10-year-old most recently came third in the Cheltenham Gold Cup, but with the expected withdrawal of top-weight Hewick, Corach Rambler will likely be carrying around 11st 5lbs for the Grand National - a full stone more than last year.
The race has been held at various times over the years. After being held at 4:15pm, the race was pushed back to 5:15pm, aiming to avoid the clash with domestic football and allow a wider audience to watch the race.
However, owing to safety concerns, the race has been brought forward to 4pm for the 2024 Grand National, which will be held on Saturday 13th April.
bet365 are now Non-Runner No Bet on the Grand National, offering money back if your horse isn't declared for the race. You can read more on our NRNB promotion here.
