The extended international break for the first four Nations League fixtures saw Harry Kane improve on his record as England's all-time top goalscorer.
Kane registered his 86th England goal against Spain, his 87th against Czechia and then his 88th and 89th against Croatia.
While Kane's goalscoring record may never be broken, the Bayern Munich man is chasing down more history.
David Beckham set the record as England's most-capped outfield player in March 2009, a record he held for seven years before being overtaken by Wayne Rooney in 2016 and now Kane.
Kane will now share the record with Peter Shilton on 125 caps when he takes to the field against Czechia on Tuesday evening, but will be made to wait to break the record.
The next international break is in mid-November and, assuming he stays fit, the earliest Kane could break Shilton's record is Thursday 12th November against Croatia. Failing that, Kane's next opportunity would be against Spain the following Sunday.
It's a testament to Kane's remarkable longevity and importance to the England sides he's been a part of over the years, particularly given he didn't make his Three Lions debut until after his 22nd birthday, compared to the likes of Rooney who was 17, and Gerrard who'd turned 20 the day before making his bow.
