Sean Strickland's upset of Khamzat Chimaev earlier this year has blown the middleweight title picture wide open and Du Plessis and Usman will be looking to put themselves in line for a shot at the belt with a victory on Saturday night.
Both fighters hold wins over the current champion and will be itching to assert themselves as the next contender but they will first need to get their hand in the five-round middleweight main event at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.
