On Saturday night Lamont Roach will look to become a two-weight world champion when he takes on William Zepeda for the vacant WBC lightweight title.
The sanctioning body vacated the belt when Shakur Stevenson moved up in weight to face Teofimo Lopez earlier this year, and now Roach and Zepeda will face off to be crowned champion.
Roach enters the bout off the back of back-to-back draw against Gervonta Davis and Isaac Cruz while Zepeda had won his first 33 fights as a professional before being beaten by Stevenson in July 2025.
