The 2026 Indy500 takes place on Sunday 24th May, with 33 drivers set to compete for the biggest prize purse in IndyCar history.

However, estimations sit at around $22,000,000 in line with the aforementioned 10-12% year on year growth and 2025's prize pot of $20,283,000
