A total prize fund of £1,000,000 is available for the 2025 Grand National, with winning connections set to earn £500,000.
The popularity of the famous race and the increase of sponsorship has seen the Grand National prize money amount grow significantly over the years.
The £1 million prize pot was set in 2014 and has only been dropped once since, with £750,000 available for the 2021 Grand National during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Grand National prize money is allocated for the horses who finish in the top 10 in 2025, with connections of the 10th placed horse set to receive £5,000.
In excess of £3 million is up for grabs across the Aintree Grand National Festival.
