What is MODUS Darts?
MODUS Darts has served as a player management and darts event promotional organisation for almost 30 years, with the business more recently hosting events of its own.
Founded in 1997, the company have managed a large number of tungsten greats, including multiple World Darts Championship winner Michael van Gerwen, Luke Humphries and female star Fallon Sherrock.
After representing players for a quarter of a century, MODUS launched a unique "play at home" concept during the COVID-19 pandemic, allowing players to compete against each other from the comfort, and safety, of their own homes.
The success of the venture has since culminated in the launch of the MODUS Super Series, with events taking place six days a week across a 50-week calendar year allowing non-PDC Tour Card holders, rising stars and legends of the game to compete for over £1 million in annual prize money.
The MODUS Super Series formed the launching pad for Luke Littler's career, with the Nuke reigning supreme in the third and fourth series of the 2023 campaign.
How often are MODUS Super Series events staged?
Events take place Monday to Saturday 50 weeks of the year, with 12 players typically featuring in group stages between Monday and Friday with a Finals Night then staged each Saturday.
Each full series spans 12 weeks of standard gameplay, followed by a Champions Week (the 13th week) where the previous weekly winners face off for the overall title.
The circuit stages about 15 series / blocks per year, providing year-round live coverage with only a short break over the Christmas and New Year period.
