A fighter with boxing in his blood, Conor Benn has ascended into one of the biggest stars in the sport in recent years.
After establishing himself at domestic level and enjoying an extended run with the European title, Benn's momentum came to an abrupt halt after a failed doping test saw him spend nearly 18 months outside the ring.
On his return the 29-year-old quickly picked up where he left off, recording back-to-back wins to set up a long-awaited clash with Chris Eubank Jr.
When the pair finally met inside the ring in April 2025, it was Eubank who would ultimately emerge victorious, getting the nod on the judges' scorecards in a battle that would go on to win numerous fight of the year awards.
The back-and-forth battle and the spectacle that surrounded it elevated both men in the public consciousness and a rematch between the pair was ordered for later that same year.
This time Benn seized the initiative from the outset, never relinquishing control of the centre of the ring and comfortably outpointing his bitter rival in front of a capacity crowd in the capital.
Since then a highly-publicised split with Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing has only further enshrined Benn's reputation as one of the most polarising figures in the sport, and he will take to the ring on Saturday night knowing a win will put him on a collision course with a world title opportunity.
Conor Benn has used a variety of different songs for his walks to the ring throughout his career, usually preceded by several chimes of the Great Bell of the Great Clock of Westminster, otherwise known as Big Ben.
In his most recent outing Benn walked out to a mashup of Phil Collins' classic In the Air Tonight accompanied by a live percussion band.
The music was a nod to his legendary father Nigel Benn, who walked out to the 1980s hit for his first fight with Chris Eubank Sr 25 years previously.
Benn has also previously made his way to the ring to Ready or Not by American hip-hop pioneers the Fugees, and used the song for his first fight with Eubank Jr.
