It's 31 years since Nottingham Forest last played in a major cup final, but Steve Cooper's men are close to ending that run in this year's EFL Cup.
Forest have won this trophy on four occasions and claimed back-to-back League Cups under Brian Clough, in the 1988-89 and 1989-90 seasons.
They now face five-time winners Manchester United in a two-legged semi-final, with the first encounter at the City Ground.
Sunday's league defeat to Arsenal was United’s first defeat in 11 competitive games and Erik ten Hag's men have already beaten Forest 3-0 at Old Trafford in the Premier League this season.

Borussia Dortmund returned to Bundesliga action last weekend after the winter break, with a 4-3 win over Augsburg moving them up to sixth in the table.
Their away form though is a concern, heading into Wednesday's clash at Mainz, with five defeats in their eight games on the road this term.
The hosts are currently in 12th position, with 20 points from 16 games, and having won just one of their seven home games to date.
Dortmund have won on their last two trips to Mainz, including a 0-1 win last season thanks to a late goal from Axel Witsel.
The PGA Tour heads to California this week and the Farmers Insurance Open starts a day earlier, as they look to avoid a clash with Sunday's NFL Conference Championships.
Luke List claimed his maiden PGA Tour title by winning this event last year, after beating Will Zalatoris in a play-off, and is back in San Diego to defend.
Jon Rahm has already won twice on Tour this year and is another former winner at Torrey Pines, collecting this trophy back in 2017 and was runner-up in 2020.
One of Justin Rose's 10 PGA titles also came in this tournament, with the Englishman victorious in 2019 and available at 50/1 to finish top of the leaderboard this week.
