Wayne Rooney has been the best backed contestant for jungle glory as the I'm a Celebrity lineup has been revealed.
Rooney was installed as 3/1 favourite on Monday, being cut to 9/4 within 24 hours. The former Manchester United and England footballer has become a more prominent media personality with his punditry work and appearing on documentaries alongside wife Coleen, who was runner-up in 2024, and is likely to throw himself two-footed into Bushtucker Trials.
But Joanna Page is the big early mover. Opening at 11/1, the Gavin & Stacey star has been cut to 7/2 second favourite.
bet365's Steve Freeth said: "The betting public has given Wayne Rooney a big thumbs-up, and his backers will be hoping for the same from viewers. The biggest price shift we've seen has been for Joanna Page, whose odds have tumbled from 11/1 into 7/2. Her Gavin & Stacey background should stand her in good stead in Australia."
