French CS:GO squad Vitality have overhauled their roster, adding players and coaching staff from outside their home country for the 2022 season.
Vitality have announced the signings of Emil "Magisk" Reif, Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen and Danny "zonic" Sorensen, with the former Astralis trio completing their 2022 roster.
Co-Founder and Esports Director Fabien “Neo” Devide believes these signings could propel Vitality to the world number one spot, stating: "As proven winners, dupreeh, magisk & zonic have what it takes to move us from not just being a strong contender, but the best CS:GO team in the world."

The trio bring a wealth of experience to Vitality, having won multiple majors as part of the Astralis roster widely considered to be the best of all time. They will join up with Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut, Dan "apEX" Madesclaire and Kévin "misutaaa" Rabier.
Both Magisk and dupreeh bring a huge amount of firepower and nous to the roster too, and given that Vitality already possess multiple-time HLTV world number one ZywOo, this squad has the potential to create an era.
"Together they have achieved so much and I know there is a lot both myself and the team can learn from them. I am so ready to show everyone how far this team can go," said ZywOo following the signings.
Vitality ended 2021 in strong fashion, winning IEM Winter and placing top-three at both BLAST Premier Fall Final and BLAST Premier World Final 2021.
BLAST Premier Spring Groups, which is expected to kick off later this month, is the likely starting point for the squad.
