Adelaide United boss Carl Veart is demanding more from his players as they head towards finals following a disappointing performance against struggling Perth Glory.
The Reds are priced at 10/1 to win the A-League grand final and picked up another three points with a 2-0 win over Glory.
However Veart was not overly pleased with the performance.
Finals bound
Adelaide sit in fourth place on the ladder and barring a disaster they will be playing finals football. They have two home games to come and Veart says it is important they raise their game.
The Reds went in to the game against Glory following a 12-day break and that could have had an impact on the performance.

Zadkovich offers Sturridge hope
"We're a very proud club that wants to play finals football and once you get to finals it's best team on the day," he told reporters after the game.
"And on our day we're more than capable of beating anyone so that's what our goal is - to go in to finals, but we want to go into finals with good form.
"So that means the next two home games we need to put in a lot better performance than what we did tonight."
Irakunda seals the win
Adelaide substitute Nestory Irakunda wrapped up the win with a fabulaous strike in injury time but he still has plenty to learn according to Veart.
"Everything he did before that goal was most probably wrong," Veart added. "But that's the beauty of him because what he did with the goal, he has that, it's a very rare commodity to have what he has.
"It's just a matter of remembering he's still only 15 and that we just have to let him go out and have fun."
