The Professional Fighters League have announced that Vadim Nemkov will defend his heavyweight title at the upcoming PFL Dubai event.
On Monday the PFL announced a return to the Coca-Cola Arena in the Emirati city on 14 November, with Nemkov set to top the bill.
After transferring over to the PFL via the Bellator acquisition in 2023, Nemkov became the promotion's inaugural heavyweight champion with a first-round submission of Renan Ferreira in December.
A student of the former legendary former heavyweight king Fedor Emelianenko, Nemkov has gone more than a decade since his last defeat in mixed martial arts.
During that time the 34-year-old became the final man to hold the Bellator light heavyweight title before moving back up to heavyweight in 2024.
His opponent at PFL Dubai Bilostenniy has earned a shot at the gold following an impressive rise up the heavyweight ranks.
After making his way from his native Russia to the US, Bilostenniy debuted in the PFL in 2024 and has since won four of his last five fights.
In his most recent outing the 30-year-old knocked out Ferreira in the third round of their bout at PFL Sioux Falls, dropping the Brazilian with a right hand before finishing him off with ground and pound.
Dubai has been a regular jaunt for the PFL in recent years.
The promotion signed a multi-year agreement with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and Dubai Sports Council in 2024 to host multiple events a year in the city.
