American Taylor Fritz will play the biggest match of his life when he takes on world number one Jannik Sinner in the US Open final on Sunday night.
After beating compatriot Frances Tiafoe in a five-set thriller, 26-year-old Fritz is 7/2 to become the first American to win the men's singles title at Flushing Meadows since Andy Roddick in 2003.
Standing in his way is the Italian top seed, who showed his class by booking his place in Sunday's showpiece with a straight sets victory over Britain's Jack Draper.
Sinner has enjoyed a sensational 2024 so far and will be hoping his experience of winning his first Grand Slam at the Australian Open will stand him in good stead as he takes on both Fritz and a passionate New York crowd.
