The venue is also synonymous with snooker, with the WST staging their Players Championship Finals event there annually.
The Nineball tournament, which is part of the World Nineball Tour, is a race to nine frames until the last 16 where it then becomes the first to 11.
With the event being a double-elimination format, players who lose their matches will be offered a second opportunity to progress meaning there will be a large number of tables used across the six day competition.
Loser round matches will be a race to eight frames.
The 2025 UK Pool Championship will be available to watch on Sky Sports, with Sky Sports Action showing the main table of play each day.
The event can also be live streamed via Sky Sports + and Sky Go.
Barry Hearn OBE, Matchroom Sports President, and Andy Goldstein, renowned TalkSport Radio host, have both been announced as wildcards for the 2025 UK Open Pool Championship.
The pair previously featured at the US Open last August, although despite valiant efforts, neither were able to record victory in Atlantic City.
A stacked 256-player field will descend on Telford, made up of the top 128 World Nineball Tour professionals and wildcard contenders.
Defending champion Robbie Capito returns after a landmark 2024 victory, aiming to make it back-to-back titles.
Other players set to feature include Robbie Capito, Jayson Shaw, Johann Chua, Skyler Woodward, Joshua Filler and Duong Quoc Hoang.
The total prize fund for the 2025 UK Open Pool Championship is $200,000, with the winner set to take home an increased top prize of $40,000.
