Ranked heavyweights Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Jailton Almeida headline UFC on ABC in Charlotte, North Carolina on 13th May.
A light heavyweight contest between Anthony Smith and Johnny Walker was originally expected to headline the event.
However, the UFC decided to promote an already scheduled three-round heavyweight clash between Rozenstruik and Almeida to the five-round main event slot.
Rozenstruik is ranked #9 in the heavyweight division, but he has lost three of his last five trips to the octagon.
After successive losses to Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov, ranked fourth and seventh respectively, Rozenstruik bounced back to beat Chris Daukaus via knockout at UFC 282 in December.
Almeida, ranked #12, is looking to continue his climb up the rankings after earning five victories in a row since signing for the UFC, while his overall win streak is at 13.
The Brazilian has ended each of his five fights under the UFC banner inside the distance - three by submission and two via TKO.
Ireland’s Ian Garry also features in North Caroline, making his first appearance on a main card in the UFC.
Former Cage Warriors welterweight champion Garry boasts an 11-0 record, with four of those wins coming since signing for the UFC.
He is looking to earn a ranking in the welterweight division when he takes on #15 Daniel Rodriguez.
