UFC Fight Night: Curtis v Allen 2: Fight date, time, undercard & how to watch

UFC Fight Night will once again head to Las Vegas in April with middleweights Chris Curtis and Brendan Allen set to headline the card.

Marvin Vettori was originally scheduled to fight Allen, who is on a six-fight winning streak.

However, a "freak accident" has forced the Italian to step aside and 'All In' will now face the last fighter to beat him, Curtis, who triumphed when the pair met in December 2021.

Here is everything you need to know ahead of UFC Fight Night: Curtis v Allen 2.

UFC Fight Night: Curtis v Allen 2 date

This UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday 6th April, 2024, although due to the time difference in Las Vegas, the majority of the action for UK viewers will take place on Sunday 7th April.

UFC Fight Night: Curtis v Allen 2 time

The prelims are scheduled to get underway at 20:00 UK time, while the main card will begin at 23:00, meaning the headline fight between Curtis and Allen is unlikely to take place until the early hours of the morning.

UFC Fight Night: Curtis v Allen 2 venue and location

The UFC is no stranger to Las Vegas and this event will mark the fifth time the organisation has held a fight night in the state of Nevada since the turn of the year.

For all four of those previous events in 2024, the UFC Apex has been the venue and that will be the case again on 6th April.

This will be the 95th time the organisation has held an event at the UFC Apex, a venue that only opened in June 2019 and staged its first event the following May when Gilbert Burns claimed a unanimous decision victory over Tyron Woodley in a welterweight contest.

UFC Fight Night: Curtis v Allen 2 how to watch

The main card will be available for UK viewers to watch on TNT Sports from 23:00, while fans can also catch the entire night, including the prelims, with a UFC fight pass on the UFC website.

UFC Fight Night: Curtis v Allen 2 odds

Allen is the 1/2 favourite to get revenge for his previous defeat, with Curtis 17/10.

Chris Curtis record

Curtis is an experienced fighter and he boasts an MMA record of 31-10 (1 NC), with 17 of those victories coming via knockout.

The Action Man fights out of Vegas and has competed in three weight categories - Light Heavyweight, Welterweight and his current division, Middleweight.

He was last seen in action beating Marc-Andre Barriault by split decision at UFC 297 and will hope that result can spark another win streak.

The 36-year-old had previously won eight in a row, a run that included beating Phil Hawes on his UFC debut at UFC 268, before losing to Jack Hermansson in July 2023.

A victory over Joaquin Buckley followed before going down to Kelvin Gastelum, a result followed by a NC against Nassourdine Imavov after an accidental clash of heads forced the American to retire.

He is currently #14 in the Middleweight decision

Brendan Allen Record

South Carolina native Allen currently holds an MMA record of 23-5-0 and he has won 11 of his 13 fights since stepping into the UFC.

The 28-year-old's only defeats during that run have been against current middleweight belt holder Sean Strickland in November 2020 and then Curtis the following December, with both losses coming via TKO.

Since that defeat to Curtis, Allen has registered six wins on the spin, first stopping Sam Alvey in the second round of their light heavyweight contest before returning to middleweight level to beat Jacob Malkoun, Krzysztof Jotko, Andre Muniz, Bruno Silva and, most recently, Paul Craig in November 2023.

The final four of those victories all came via submission and Allen will now be hoping, as the #6 ranked contender in the middleweight division, he can take another step towards a title shot in the near future.
