Magomed Ankalaev and Johnny Walker will renew hostilities on 13th January, with the pair each aiming to prove a point after their original bout at UFC 294 ended in a no-contest.
Ankalaev hit Walker with an accidental yet illegal knee in the opening round of October's previous meeting in Abu Dhabi and the cageside doctor ruled the Brazilian could not continue.
Walker took issue with the decision and a rematch was announced in November, with the duo now set to meet at UFC Fight Night 234 at the UFC Apex.
Ankalaev is currently enjoying an 11-fight unbeaten streak, winning nine in a row before drawing with Jan Blachowicz and going onto the No Contest in the first fight.
After defeats to Thiago Santos and Jamahal Hill, Walker won three-in-a-row, including a knockout victory against Paul Craig, before the early finish in October.
The pair's second showdown will take place overnight on Saturday 13th January, with the duo likely to head to the Octagon in the early hours of Sunday 14th January.
A full schedule and timings have not yet been confirmed for UFC Fight Night 234.
The UFC's website lists the bout as taking place at 00:00 GMT, although that time is likely to signal the start of the televised card.
If that is the case, the main event will take place later, potentially around 04:00 GMT.
After their original fight in Abu Dhabi, Ankalaev v Walker's rematch will take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
The facility was opened in June 2019 and regularly hosts Fight Night Events, with Ankalaev most recently facing Santos there in March 2022.
Walker also met fellow Brazilian Santos at the venue in October 2021, losing that bout. He also went down there to Hill in February 2022.
Like all UFC events, UK fans will be able to watch the card on TNT Sports, formerly known as BT Sport.
There are no belts on offer in Ankalaev v Walker 2.
Ankalaev is ranked #3 in the light heavyweight division, with Walker #7 and the winner could move into contention to face new champion Alex Pereira following his victory over Blachowicz on 11th November.
A talent-packed card has been assembled for UFC Fight Night 234, with flyweight pair #6 Matheus Nicolau and #8 Manel Kape clashing in another rematch after Nicolau's split decision victory in March 2021.
There are two women's bantamweight bouts, with #4 Ketlen Vieira facing #10 Macy Chiasson, while #8 Yana Santos meets #11 Norma Dumont.
The night's opening contest features flyweights Felipe Bunes and Denys Bondar.
