Ribas made her professional debut in her native Brazil in 2014 under Pentagon Combat, claiming a first-round TKO win over Jessica Almeida.

The 30-year-old compiled a 6-1 record in MMA and won the vacant MF Strawweight Championship in her hometown of Varginha before joining the UFC.

Ribas made her UFC debut in 2019 on the undercard of the heavyweight bout between Francis Ngannou and Junior dos Santos, claiming a second-round submission victory over Emily Whitmire at strawweight.

Ribas claimed two more wins in that division before her flyweight debut and she made it four UFC victories in a row with a first-round submission against Paige VanZant.

She returned to strawweight for her next bout, but suffered a first defeat in the organisation against Marina Rodriguez.

Ribas has been in mixed form since that loss with three wins and two further defeats, following up each victory with a loss.
